A hair salon owner is desperate for the criminals who stole nearly £1,000 from his business.
Burglars smashed the window of Jacob’s Barbers, in Strood High Street, last weekend and entered the property in the early hours of the morning.

Business owner Sirwah Rashedi said: “Luckily the window is safety glass so even if it’s broken it’s not broken.
“However, the burglars managed to enter the store with some kind of key.
“I don’t know what kind of key it was, but you can see burglars using something like that on CCTV.”
Sirwah explained how the dark lighting made it difficult to see exactly who the burglars were.
However, nearby shops and businesses offered their own CCTV to help with police investigations.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating a report of a burglary at a barber shop in High Street, Strood at around 2.30am on Sunday September 18.
“It is alleged that entry was gained to the premises and a quantity of money was stolen.
‘Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to call Kent Police.’
Sirwah explained how notes and coins, totaling around £850-900, were stolen from the till.
Although still open, the shop will need a new window.

The 53-year-old said: “We are going to have a shutter installed, it will cost me a lot of money but we have no choice,
“I want to thank the community for coming together and supporting me and my business.
“All of our neighbors are sad and worried following the burglary.
“We want to catch the people who did this, I want to find them as soon as possible.
“Police were very helpful so if you know anything please get in touch with them.”
