Falling prices or adjusting market prices? AMD Ryzen 7000 processors see significant price drops from launch

According to reports from tech outlets HardwareLuxx and computer base, retailers are offering deep price cuts on AMD Ryzen 7000 desktop processors. These price cuts are officially not from AMD itself but from its chip vendor partners. This is great news for European users who were considering building a PC with the latest AMD processors, as the launch prices for these chips weren’t that high in the region.

For example, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X launched at a price of $849 in the region followed by $669 for the Ryzen 9 7900X, $479 for the Ryzen 7 7700X, and $359 for the Ryzen 5 7600X. These prices were obviously much higher than what users paid in the United States and the main reason for such a difference was the VAT which is around 20% and applies to all technology products in the European market.
