PlayStation Plus‘ Free games for Extra and Premium subscribers have been announced for December 2022.
This month’s games for the base Essential tier are already available to claim now (the Mass Effect Legendary Edition trilogy, Biomutant and divine knockout). Now we know which free games will be available to mid-tier and top-tier subscribers later this month.
PS Plus Extra, the mid-tier that gives you access to a library of hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games to download (with all PS4 games running on PS5, sometimes with enhancements), again has the vast majority of additions this month -this.

Fight game WWE 2K22 leads the pack in Sony’s announcement, though it’s important to note that this game is coming to the service on January 3and this is only the PS4 version.
We also receive three Far cry Games – Far Cry 5, far cry new dawn and Far Cry Primal – Three Yakuza Games – Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Yakuza: like a dragon and the spin-off Judgement – of them the Lord of the Rings Games – Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and more shadow of war — and a partridge in a pear tree. These are all PS4 games, with like a dragon and Judgement get PS5 versions too.
Other games coming to Extra are (PS4 only, unless otherwise noted): adventure time, Enchiridion Pirates, Ben 10: Power Trip (also PS5), Evil Genie 2 (also PS5), gigantosaurus the game, Deadly Shell (also PS5), Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Ultimate Edition, The escapees 2, The pedestrian (also PS5), and To ADM.

The top tier, PS Plus Premium, expands library access to include streaming PS3 games, PS1, PS2, and PSP emulations, plus some remasters and remakes. It also adds streaming options for many games throughout the Plus library.

Again, the additions to the service are few compared to Extra. We have a PS1 game in Oddworld: Abe’s Exodustwo PSP games in pinball hero and ridge runner 2 (which was leaked more than six months ago), and a streaming PS3 game in A heavenly sword (which was streamable until the service was renamed about six months ago).
Besides the aforementioned WWE 2K22, these games will be coming to PS Plus on Tuesday, December 20.
