The VR game takes place in a charming hot spring resort in Japan. The hot spring resort called Tokoharu Koi-Koi Hot Spring is considered a popular ryokan for its cherry and plum trees which bloom all year round. However, a mysterious storm caused the two trees to lose all their lovely flowers a few years ago. Thus, the ryokan will encounter a crisis.
Having inherited the ryokan, players will meet two sisters who they discovered were their old childhood friends. The calm and cool older sister Koume and her shy younger sister Sakura. Virtual reality gamers will spend time under the same roof, and all three will work to restore the ryokan to its former glory.
Players can enjoy the love story in a Japanese animation style, as well as the majestic landscapes of traditional Japanese gardens, and indulge in the open-air baths and table tennis of the hot springs.
Players who want to get into the virtual reality game can become the main character and experience the love story with the game’s two sisters. Koi-Koi: Love Blossoms is full of action and adventure, providing huge volume of content that is guaranteed to be satisfactory to the player. Besides that, users can play through ten adventure chapters with numerous endings.
Anyone can become the protagonist and experience the incredible story in Adventure mode. Players can also improve their compatibility with heroines through their choices in the conversation. The best part here is that they can experience different endings based on their compatibility with each girl. Note that the heroines are fully voiced in adventure mode.
There are also other features. Players can challenge the various hot spring mini-games like VR table tennis in Action mode. Action mode can only be accessed by playing the main game.
