An artist has used artificial intelligence to create images of what Disney characters would look like if they were real people.
Get ready for all your fairy tale dreams to come true.
The artist explained the process to Bored Panda, noting that it “usually” starts with a photograph of a Disney character and also “a photograph of a real person who [he] thinks resembles that character”.
He keep on going: “Then I put the two into the AI program that I use to merge the two together.”
However, the result can sometimes look “a bit funny”, so Toyboyfan takes “the resulting photo and combines[s] with another photo.
“And so on until I get a somewhat realistic photo that looks a bit like the character. Then I’ll take the photo to Photoshop and start making adjustments here and there to make it look even more like the character. character, like changing the color of the eyes or refining the face,” he decides.
But which Disney characters did the artist bring to life?
Well, there’s a whole host of Disney characters from some in Frozen For The beauty and the Beast And princess and the frog Also.
Here are a few that you are likely to recognize.
The “Let It Go” singer may not wear her hair in her signature braid like in the movies here, but her ash blonde hair, pale skin tone and blue eyes certainly give Elsa vibes.
Viewers of the montage are flocking to social media in awe of the real-life version of Ana, with one noting that they think it looks like Russian figure skater Victoria Sinitsina – could it have been the one Toyboyfan used as reference picture?
Another resolved, “These are the best real-life versions of Frozen characters I’ve seen an artist come up with.”
He is Rapunzel’s love interest in Tangled and don’t lie, we all definitely sat there wondering if it was weird of us to fancy an animated character in a Disney movie before fainting anyway.
At least now we have some sort of real version to make it all a little less weird to understand.
Although, saying that, even more than in the movie, the real-life version of Rider exudes complete f**kboy energy – other viewers think so too – so if you spot someone who looks like him, maybe give him a wide berth.
Ariel has the signature mermaid shiny auburn hair featured in the 1989 original The little Mermaid.
Let’s face it, we’ve all had a crush on Meg(ara) too. She and Lola from Shark story – which is a whole different ball game – channeling pretty much the same energy.
This real-life version of Meg’s AI/Toyboyfan collaboration looks slightly more innocent than the one we see in Hercules, and another viewer also pointed out that she and the Hercules montage sounded more like “average American teenagers” opposed to being Greek.
Although a commenter on Bored Panda noted how “real” the image looked, not all other viewers shared the same opinion of Moana’s photo.
One wrote: “This one (while still cool) just doesn’t feel as sharp as the rest. His hair isn’t as thick and curly, his hairline is different, and his brows are also a different shape. I would love to see another version where the hair and brows are captured a bit better! The others are fascinatingly precise lol.”
“This one is very cool, but Moana was actually meant to be Te Reo Māori,” another shared.
However, a third resolved: “Literally like Moana.”
Toyboyfan has created a whole host of real-life versions of Disney characters, so if you haven’t spotted your favorite, be sure to check out the artist’s Instagram.
The artist also took requests and made touch-ups on the ones they’ve already done so they align more closely with the original characters.
