Restart the app before the event

Be patient – there will always be errors and bugs at the start of the event. Restarting the app is best in most, if not all, cases.

Don’t forget to spin the PokéStops

Don’t forget that PokéStops offer very beneficial quests during Community Day, giving you rewards for Stardust, Great and Ultra Balls, and Pinap Berries, all things that can help you if your supplies are low.

Do not activate decoys before the start of the event

To ensure you have decoys in place for the entire duration, do not mount your decoys until the event begins, as these will only last for 30 minutes. The lure must ascend after the start of the event to last for three hours. Not to mention, this will prevent boosted CD spawns from spawning until they’re depleted.

Use incense

Use Incense to attract even more Pokémon to you as you hunt. If you’re wondering, yes, Incense can spawn Community Day Mons, which can be glowing. There is no reason for you to avoid incense if you have it.

  • Don’t forget to enjoy the event
  • Chat with your fellow trainers and grow your local Pokémon GO community. Make good use of the QR code feature to make new friends!
  • Promote new features and events in Pokémon Go to Trainers who are just starting their adventure or haven’t played in a while. People keep coming back because of trading, new Pokemon, PvP, lots of events and these community events.

Most importantly, have fun, get shinies, and hope for no game issues!
